From Mobile Bar to Brewery
What started in 2021 as a side hustle quickly turned into a full-blown mission. If you know us, you know we've always enjoyed visiting local breweries and hitting up food trucks throughout Northern California. That's when the idea struck us…
Let's flip the script. Instead of a food truck… let's do a BEER TRUCK!
As homebrewers ourselves, we wanted to focus on working with our local home brew clubs in addition to local breweries to serve the freshest beer at all types of events throughout Northern California. So, fueled by our love for beer and a lot of hard work, we picked up a small, worn-down trailer (an old hot dog stand, hence the name), fixed it up, and turned it into what became “The Keg Stand” Mobile Bar.
Now here we are, a few years later, taking the next step in this adventure. We've opened our own brewing facility in the heart of Novato, where we're crafting our own small-batch beers.
We brew for the people who work hard and earn their beer at the end of the day. And while you're here, we want that old-school feel: come in a stranger, leave a friend.
So step in, grab a pint, and make yourself at home. Beer for all the go-getters.

How We Brew
Small Batch
We brew in small batches on purpose. It means more variety on the taps, beer that's never sat around, and the freedom to chase a recipe just to see where it goes.
Local First
Brewed in Novato, for Novato. The Keg Stand is a neighborhood brewery — dog-friendly, family-friendly, with a food truck parked out front more days than not.
Peak Freshness
The beer in your glass was brewed a few feet away. That's the whole point. No middlemen between our tanks and your table.
